Hi Everyone!

 

I'm Jason and I'm an illustrator born in raised in NYC. I've been drawing as far back as I can remember. Growing up, I spent most summers of my childhood in the Bronx at my aunt and uncle’s. I guess you can say it all started when I discovered a stash of comics hidden under my cousin John's bed. Striking images of superheroes and villains came to life right before my eyes!

The comic book that I was most captivated by was the X-MEN Issue 1. The fold out cover featured Cyclops, Wolverine and Magneto. That artwork was just so awesome, it inspired me to immediately pick up a pencil and start drawing. Some of my favorite artists are Jim Lee, Marko Djurdjevic, J. Scott Campbell and Feng Zhu to name a few! My love for art continued through my design training in school through college.

I've had the privilege of attending LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts and continued my training in illustration at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology.
